About This Wine

The nose is gorgeously deep, layered, and balanced with soulful tones of Mint leaves, sour red cherries, raspberries, cranberries, currants, tobacco leaf, crushed rocks, and some savory spice/mushroom notes that provide a wonderful base. This nose is the definition of "melded" as every tone is playing a perfect part with each other in harmony. The Full bodied feel is deft and balanced with a real sense of class along with tart, medium+ acidity and silky, medium tannins that have pulled back and really provide support now. I can’t think of a time when I’ve had a Yarra Yering at this level of age and it is something truly beautiful.
