WINE BANQ was founded to solve a problem we witnessed in both the fine dining and wine collecting worlds. Restaurants wanted to offer prestigious back-vintage wines to their discerning clientele, but the capital requirements and sourcing challenges made it nearly impossible.
Meanwhile, serious wine collectors had exceptional bottles resting in their cellars with no channel to share them with people who would truly appreciate them and also generate reasonable financial returns without crazy commissions.
We created a bridge between these two worlds, sourcing outstanding wines and offering a professional consignment-based model that creates significant value for everyone involved.
