The 2012 Puligny-Montrachet Clos de la Mouchère 1er Cru is a great wine from Boillot, even holding its own against the 2013 Montrachet from Ramonet. Fresh and mineral-driven on the nose, it offers tempting glimpses of slate and sliced pear all very well defined. There is satisfying salinity on the entry of the palate, just a trace of sour lemon with fine delineation on the feisty finish. You could broach this now, though personally I would wait another couple of years. Tasted at 21 Boulevard restaurant in Beaune. (Drink between 2021-2036) 94 points Neal Martin, Vinous
