About This Wine

Simply outstanding Chablis from the master. All the characteristics of a classic Kimmeridgian soil profile (crushed shells, flint, citrus peel etc) done at the apogee of this appellation by Raveneau. The 08 vintage is now delivering in spades - no need to wait any longer - and the Vaillons delivers a touch more fruit body and subtle oily honey (just a little) that knocks this out of the park for me. Every sniff and taste is a little different and it’s so so moorish. Awesome wine.
