Featured Winery - Capel Vale (Pemberton)

A pioneer of the Western Australia wine scene, Capel Vale was one of the earliest producers in the region and it wears its feathers with pride. Founder Peter Pratten was the first person to identify and refine the viticultural potential of all the best cool climate regions in Western Australia; Geographe, Margaret River, Pemberton and Mount Barker.

Featured Wine - 2005 Whispering Hill Single Vineyard Mount Barker Shiraz

The fruit for this exceptional cool climate Shiraz comes exclusively from a site which, although 50km from the sea, is still exposed to frequent cold winds. The sound of these winds blowing through the Casuarina trees led to the naming of the vineyard.
